The Team Intense Martial Arts Elite Fighting Team was created by Master Catalasan to take those who have a passion for the sport, to another level - mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Master Catalasan wanted to take those who were serious about the sport, and transform them into amazing fighters, leaders, and role models. Open try-outs are held in early August, and by the end of the month, the team is chosen. Come September, training begins and coincides with the start of a brand new tournament season.
The fighters who call themselves the Elite Fighting Team train outside of class every week with Master Catalasan. During this time, they focus on elements such as speed, agility, reaction, explosiveness, plyometrics, endurance, and strategy to help them become better fighters in the ring.
